Principal of Lee Jubas, AIA. Projects cover a range of building types from commercial mixed use designs to high end retail tenant improvements for the furniture design industry to high quality custom residential projects for both families and developers. All stages of the development process are designed and nurtured with a high degree of care and focus. From historical, site, and code analysis to computer imagery of the building and site through to detailed construction documents and specifications are created in order to assure construction success and a project which meets the demands of the clients program.

BURDGE ARCHITECTS

MALIBU, CA.

March 1992 - January 1994

Designer and Project Manager for custom homes in the Hollywood hills. The majority of the projects were in Los Cabos, Mexico. I participated in the design and was in charge of construction documents for custom homes in and around Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. These were for both individual American clients and developers. The most interesting aspect was becoming familiar with the local construction methods and how the various trades function in a foreign country.

Projects consisted of multi-family housing, commercial and mixed use buildings.

Project manager of:

  • 45-unit condominium complex;
  • Service facility addition to an auto dealership constructed of tilt-up panels;
  • 97-foot high monument tower in San Diego, Ca.

Production team member for the many residential, commercial and mixed use projects with which the firm was involved.

JIM STAFFORD ARCHITECTS

LOS ANGELES, CA

January 1988 - April 1988

Assissted in design development and working drawings of: a restaurant; a commercial office building; and a factory building constructed of tilt-up concrete walls and steel-frame construction. Prepared presentation drawings and scale architectural models.
